It contains a small amount of C and N and is added with Ti and Nb to promote high-temperature strength, erosion resistance, welding performance and processing quality. It is specially developed by Pohang Steel.

It is the typical steel grade of ferrite steel with the advantages of lower thermal expansion rate, high formability and excellent oxidation resistance.

1. Automobile: Shell decoration and clamping piece

2. Building and structure: Iron window hinge and fastener, electric escalator staircase on inner wall of tunnel, frame and dustbin

3. Household electric appliance: Electric appliance shell, water tank, washing machine barrel and panel

It is the typical steel of Martensitic steel. Despite high strength, it is not applied to environment with strong erosion. However, it is featured by high processing quality and hardened in line with heat treatment surface (magnetic surface).

1. Industry: Power station cooling tower, dam flood discharge pipe, water gate and transmission system

2. Building: postbox, ticket sales machine and box

3. Transportation: Bus chassis, container, coal transport vehicle and trolley car

4. Knife

It is extremely low in carbon and nitrogen and contains 18% of chromium and 2% of molybdenum. It is characterized by strong erosion resistance and stabilized with niobium or titanium to avoid intercrystalline corrosion after being welded. Compared with austenitic stainless steel, such as SUS304 and SUS316L, the steel has the most notable advantage of excellent resistance against chloric stress corrosion and cracking. Moreover, its resistance against chloric corrosion is stronger than that of SUS304 and equal to that of SUS316L. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for all kinds of water treatment unit.

1. Building: Drainage system, flue and front curtain wall of building

2. Industry: Boiler, hot water tank, solar water heater, heat exchange pipe, water tank, fermentation and storage tank

Steel 439 is acquired by reducing C content and adding Ti and other stabilizing elements on the basis of common ferrites (430) to promote intergranular corrosion resistance, formability and welding performance. Compared with steel 306, the steel has lower specific elongation (30%) and equivalent strength and corrosion resistance. Its corrosion resistance is higher than that of series 200.

2. Industry: Dryer welded pipe and condenser welded pipe

It has high hardness and strong erosion resistance (with magnetism) after being quenched.
